Everybody knows the movies of the Lord of the Rings. This card I received from Finland. Because I have on my postcrossing profile, I love to receive film and fantasy postcards. It's not of my favorite movies, but the producers made it beautiful.

Yushan National Park Taiwan

Yushan National Park in Taiwan (玉山國家公園). This park is one of the 8 national parks of Taiwan and was named after the summit Yushan, the highest peak of the park. The park covers a total of 105,490 hectares including large sections of the Central Mountain Range. The park contains over thirty peaks more than 3000 meters in elevation, and tho-thirs of the are within the park is above 2000 meters. The elevetion difference in the park is 3600 meters, and there are many lovely canyons, cliffs and valleys.

Because its remote location and entry control, Yushan National Park is not among the most visited national parks in Taiwan. Even so, the park still attracted 1,349,281 visitors in the year 2005.

By myself I love postcards and picures of mountains. It gives me a feeling of freedom when I look at it. :) So I'm very pleasant to received this one.

Church of Saint Seraphim

I can't find something about this church. I've I search it on google, I only see the churches in America. But it's a lovely church to see. Beautiful architecture. And so white and gold. Hope once I can visit it in Russia.

Mourning Cloak

The Mourning Cloak Butterfly (in Dutch: Rouw Mantel). This butterfly is a daybutterfly out of the butterfly family Nymphalidae, the foxes, pearl butterflies and reflection butterflies.

The Mourning Cloak knows a Palearctic and dissemination Nearctische. The butterfly is most seen in Europe, and appears as vagrant in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the Netherlands the Mourning Cloak was a state butterfly till 1964. The butterfly lived in mixed and coniferous forests

Wing length: between 30 till 35 milimeters. 

Seen: March till September.

Nice to know: In males the border of the wings are pure yellow and by the females is the border light yellow.

Svaboda Square

Greetings from Vitebsk, Belarus. A card with Svaboda Square. Freedom Svoboda Square is the central square in Russia, a nice place where you can pleasantly spend some time, walking or just sitting on a bench.

Tromsø

Tromsø, is a city in Troms county Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city Tromsø.

Tromsø city is the ninth largest urban erea in Norway by population, and the seventh largest city in Norway by population, and second largest city urban area north of the Arcric Circle in Sápmi.. This city have 96.166 inhabitants.  Most of Tromsø, including the city centre is located on the small island Tromsøya, 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. This city is warmer that the most other places around the Circle, due to the warming effect of the Gulf Stream.

Duckpainting like Donald Duck

A painting of the painter Kaj Stenvall born 25 december 1951 in Tampere Finland. He was getting famous as artist after 1989 by his first painting, this card. The people thought this duck was look like Donald Duck. And now I look better, I think the people there where true about that, he seems indeed like Donald Duck. But out of that it's a nice painting. :)

This card I received by the postcrossing forum, by joining a tag. The showing people card tag. The writer writes me that she don't know who it is, only that she was buying the card in Russia. This card is made by Bogdan Nowakowski. 

Lake Miedwie

This card, from Poland, Lake Miedwie, and some other pictures. Don't really know where this is in Poland, so I can't tell you something about it.

She write me something nice, I don't know! She tolt me Otters hold hands when they sleep. It's surprising me, I didn't know that!

Czech Republic

This card I received the 2th of february 2012 comes from Czech Republic.

I don't know very much about this picture or castle, only that it's the State Palace of Hradec nad Moravici. Just a beautiful card.

Turkey

Officially is this not a real card, the writer send me a photo what he made by his self. :) He tells me you see on the picture his home town Tunceli in Turkey. A beautiful few from a hill near the town. :) I love own picture's that writers made by they're self. :) Therefore I've no stamp, it was just a sticker of the post office. 

Tuneli is de capital of het turkisch district Tunceli and the province Tunceli (Kurdisch: Dersim) and have 25.041 residents (2000).

The Revolt of Dersim was in this city in the and of the years 1930.

Holland Hoofddorp

Again I've received a lovely card from my own country. And that with 3 lovely kittens on the front. My favorite animals are kittens, so this card is so welcome in my collection.

What a beautiful card I've received. I love that kind of country's who has that kind of architecture and culture. As you see I've received a card of the Nagoya-Jyo Castle with a beautiful Cherry Tree blossom. :)

The castle of Nagoya is a tourist attraction in Nogoya. The castle was built by order of Tokygawa leyasy, an important point along the route Toikaido secure, and to attaks fro Osaka to cope.
