Tromsø

Tromsø, is a city in Troms county Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city Tromsø.

Tromsø city is the ninth largest urban erea in Norway by population, and the seventh largest city in Norway by population, and second largest city urban area north of the Arcric Circle in Sápmi.. This city have 96.166 inhabitants.  Most of Tromsø, including the city centre is located on the small island Tromsøya, 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. This city is warmer that the most other places around the Circle, due to the warming effect of the Gulf Stream.
