Melbourne Australia

This is my first one I've received from Australia. From the city Melbourne. I love that country very much, and even the city. Once in my live I hope I can travel to Australia and see the wonderfull landscapes and de city's of Australia.

Melbourne is the capital of the Australian of the land Victoria, founded in 1835 by a group of settlers from Tasmania. In 1842 the settlement was a town. It's the biggest city of Victoria and the second city of Australia (the first one is Sydney), with population of 4.077.036 residents (2010).

Melbourne is named after the English man Lord Melbourne, al the time of the founding of the city (1835) just his second reign as Prime Minister of Great Britain had begun and was born in the English town of Melbourne in Derbyshire. 

From 1901 to 1927 served as the seat of Melbourne, the Australian federal parliament and government. 

This little cute stamp I love it. The little Kangaroo is so sweet. :)
